Founded in 1970 by the late Enrique Forner, this family-owned winery Marqués de Cáceres chose to move away from the traditional oaky style Riojas to produce wines with rich concentration and intense fruit and aromas. The Bodega’s philosophy is based on limiting production to a point where maximum quality can be perfectly achieved.

Managed by daughter, Cristine Forner, the business has now reached international status with over 50% of its production exported and present in over 120 countries. Marqués de Cáceres is unanimously recognised for its consistency in quality and excellent value for money wines in each of their own cateogry. It is the leading Spanish wine brand in Europe and America.
