Nestled in the east of the Rhône river, between Orange and Vaison-La-Romaine, is a little village called Cairanne, an area renowned for its quality wine production since the Middle-Ages. This is where Ameillaud vineyard was also established. Englishman, Nick Thompson, along with his wife, Sabine, took over Domaine de L’Ameillaud in 1983 and began achieving wines with full fruit expression of the blends of the region’s grape varietals.
