Mommessin has its origins near Mâcon, in Southern Burgundy, at Grange-Saint-Pierre, on the site of the Cluny Abbey in 1965. However, Mommessin developed much of its acclaim in Beaujolais, a century later, becoming one of the jewels in the region’s crown. Mommessin’s wines derive their unique character from this dual lineage, a perfect blend of Burgundian vinification and the bursting flavours of Beaujolais.
