Since 1670, located within the appellation of Sancerre, in the tiny village of Verdigny, is Domaine Thomas. Jean and Ginette Thomas now run this impeccable estate. Both sides of Jean’s family have been growers and winemakers in Sancerre for more than ten generations. Just behind their house is the magnificent Terre Blanche vineyard with vines between 50 and 70 years old where the best of the best Sancerre of Domaine Thomas are from.
