Mijnder Pons is from a Dutch family of entrepreneurs. After he retired from running the family business, he purchased a farm in Mendoza, and there, Bodega Salentein was born.
Bodegas Salentein is a leader in cultivating global awareness of the emerging premium wineries of Argentina. A new vision of quality – with plantings of classical varietals, preservation of old vines, application of European artistry, and advanced technology – is yielding award-winning, world-class wines. In the middle of his vineyard, he opened Killka Gallery – a museum space designed to show and sell the works of art of renowned local, national and international artists.
