After many years of concentrating exclusively on producing top class grapes that were sold to renowned winemakers in Spain’s premier Ribera del Duero wine regions, the couple decided to embark on a project that they knew would take a great deal of tenacity and expertise – to make their own wines. In 2001, with the aid of their three children, Carlos, Henar and Antonio, the winery became a reality.

Bodega y Viñedos Garcia Figuero is located in La Horra (Burgos). This place is one of the most prestigious spots along the banks of Duero River and home to Ribera del Duero DO quality label. Its vineyard is 100% Tempranillo, with 25 hectares of vines older than 60 years.
