He had a keen eye for originality and so, his vineyard was first planted on a dried up branch of the Maipo River which offered unique soil characteristics for grape growing. Today, the estate is run by the third and fourth generations of the De Martino family. Although the property has significantly grown in size, the winery still preserves its tradition and pioneering spirit of the De Martino family. Certified 100% Carbon Neutral – the first winery in South America.

Pioneers of and Specialists in Carmenère

We are proud to have been the first Chilean winery to export Carmenère. In 1996 we decided to register the Carmenère grape in Chile and exported the first bottle.
