- The Wine Spectator gave Brandlin 92 points last summer then James Laube listed it as one of two Cabernets over $50 USD as his Personal Favorite in the February 2016 edition
- Decanter tasted 169 California Cabernet’s and Brandlin Estate received the 4th highest score with 93 points. Most of the competition listed were listed at much higher prices.
